What is the Breeze System?
The Breeze System is a “Smart Card” transit fare collection system adopted by MARTA for regional transit fare collection. All of the regional transit providers are adopting the “Smart Card” technology called Breeze. CCT’s new state of the art fare collection system called Breeze will feature new fareboxes, Smart Card Readers, and Breeze Card/Ticket Vending Machines. The Breeze System will allow you to load regional fare products or cash on your Breeze Media and the system will automatically deduct a trip or cash when you tap your Breeze Media on the top of the farebox or faregate.

What is Breeze Media?
Breeze Media consists of the Breeze Card and the Breeze ticket.

The Breeze card is a durable, plastic smart card that will enable CCT to offer many unique benefits such as automatic reloading and loss protection for registered customers. This card may be used to store cash value for pay-per-ride and/or any ride pass CCT offers. It has a very long life, so customers may use it repeatedly without the hassle of replacement.

The Breeze Ticket is a paper ticket designed for those who use CCT infrequently. Do not fold or puncture the Ticket as it may cause the ticket to stop working.
